Our Condolences go out to Brother: Russell "Zeke" Hoskins (64 Years of Service) June 12, 1925 - December 30, 2011
Hoskins, Russell "Zeke" - Milan, MI Age 86, passed away December 30, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 12, 1925 in Salyersville, Kentucky to Owens and Bonnie (Patton) Hoskins. After high school he honorably served during WWII in the China-Burma Theater 1943-1945. When Russell returned to Salyersville, he enrolled in Morehead State University, where he played basketball. On November 7, 1947 he married Bobbie Jean Flint and she survives. Russell was an active member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 190 for 64 years; he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. Besides his wife Bobbie Jean he is survived by five children, Kathy (Bob) Viets of Milan, Mary Ann (Joe) Machen of Manchester, David (Terrie) Hoskins of Milan, Cindy (Don) Penix of Dexter and Patrick (Jackie) Hoskins of Brighton; seven grandchildren, Mandy, Jesse, Eva, Heather, Katie, Emily and Lauren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Rondell, Roger, Paul, and an infant son. Visitation will be held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan (today) Sunday, January 1, 2012 from 3-9pm. Burial will take place at the Hoskins Family Cemetery in Kentucky at a later date |
