I have watched the above video in its entirety and understand the nature of the work that I am applying for.

I am at least 18 years of age. (I may be 17 at the time of this application, provided that I meet the all other qualifications, below, and may be ranked, but not placed into the program until after I turn 18.)

I understand that completion of this on-line application does not complete the entire application process. To move on to the test, I must remit a non-refundable payment of the $75 testing fee, to Greater Michigan UA Local 190 JTC on or before October 1, 2024. I also understand that I must submit a copy of my valid driver's license. My testing date and time will be assigned to upon submission of all required documents and payment.

To move on to the interview step of the process, I understand that I must score a 17 or higher on the WorkKeys test, AND have the following, minimum, documents remitted to Greater Michigan UA Local 190 JTC:

a. Birth Certificate or US Passport;

b. High school diploma and official high school transcripts or high school equivalency (GED) certificate and official report of test results;

c. Military transfer or discharge Form DD-214, if applicable.

I understand that I MAY provide any of the following documentation to Greater Michigan UA Local 190 JTC:

a. Official College Transcripts

b. College Degree or Certificate

c. Documents of training and/or experience in the construction industry

I understand that I must keep all appointments when scheduled, or my application will be canceled.

I understand that it is my responsibility to notify the Greater Michigan UA Local 190 JTC office of any changes in address. The Joint Training Committee will not be responsible for failing to notify me of tests, interviews or other important matters, if I do not have a current address on file at the Greater Michigan UA Local 190 JTC office.

I understand that to be accepted into the Apprenticeship Program, I am subject to a substance abuse screen and consent to a background check.
